Starting something new is always a tale of two emotions. On one hand, you’re excited to see where things go.

And on the other, you’re nervous as heck for the very same reason. So when it comes to starting a new business, it’s easy to feel this way because of the fear of failing.

I bring this up because today I will be talking about this new MLM company called Ascira.

A lot of people are excited about this company, but many are wondering if it is a scam or not. So today I will be breaking down everything about this company.

Things like background information, cost to join, and how much you will be compensated for promoting this business.

At the end, you will have a better idea if this is the right business to get into.

Ascira Review Summary

Frequently Asked Questions

1.) What is Ascira? Ascira is a fairly new MLM company that operates in the travel and education niche.

The company was founded by John Sachtouras who is an experienced marketer.

He’s been involved with companies like Organo Gold and Jeunesse, both have a good reputation in the MLM industry.

2.) How do you make money with them? Usually there are two ways in which you can make money with MLMs.

Those ways are either through retail, or by recruiting people.

However, because this company is still in the beginning stages, there is currently no retail opportunity.

But it has been said that you can make 20% commissions on selling their education and travel packages.

The other way you can make money is through their recruitment program.

They have two packages you can sign up for that will allow you to recruit people.

  • Pro Pack - $499
  • Founders Club Pack - $4,999

3.) What are the red flags? The first flag that comes to mind is their potential retail opportunity. It is currently in the development stages so this is something to be mindful of.

That’s because they could potentially be operating as a pyramid scheme.

In the next section I will go over why this could be the case. The second flag comes from the person who actually owns the business, John Sachtouras.

He has a history of being involved in sketchy business schemes. He once worked at another MLM called Organo Gold where he made some good money.

Eventually he left the company back in 2018 where he ventured into another scheme called Futurenet.

As expected, the company failed because the business model was unsustainable. It relied heavily on recruiting, and once that stopped, so did the money.

Does Ascira Operate Like A Pyramid Scheme?

As currently constructed, yes it is. That’s because in order for a business to be a pyramid scheme, one of two things must at least be true:

  1. There are no products to sell, which leads to recruiting being the only way to make money

  2. Most of the sales are generated by the affiliates, and not the customers

At the moments, Ascira offers no retail products to sell, which means you have to recruit to earn any income.

Therefore, they are operating like a pyramid scheme which is illegal in most countries around the globe.

They do mention offering products that involve education and travel.

But I don’t really see this as being anything since they are not available yet to sell. So until they have something legit to distribute, a pyramid scheme is what it is.

Unlikely To Succeed?

I’ve reviewed many MLMs companies where there are no products for the distributor to sell, and most of them don’t last too long.

One reason obviously is due to it being illegal. The other reason is that you can only recruit so many people.

Once you stop recruiting, so does your income.

Even if they did have products to sell, like most MLMs, the products tend to be way overpriced, and most people have no interest in buying them.

The people that tend to make money in these types of business are the ones at the top.

They were there when the business first started, so they have a pretty substantial down line. They don’t have to do anything because everyone is doing the work for them.

Getting Started With MarketPeak

How Much To Join Ascira?

While in the pre launch phase, Ascira offers two different prices.

Pro Pack - $499

This gives you three months of Ascira Academy and Smart Travel. You also get one convention ticket.

Founders Club - $4,999

You get 12 months of the Ascira Academy and Smart Travel. And instead of the one you get with the propack, you get 4 VIP convention tickets.

And although it’s not available yet, there are packages that may be available anywhere between $199 and $2499.

Ascira Compensation Plan

Below I will share with you the most important parts of Ascira’s compensation plan:

Retail Commissions

Remember, Ascira doesn’t have any available products yet, but you can earn 20% commissions when you sell their Ascira Academy and Smart Travel.

I wasn’t able to find any more info on how one can maximize selling retail products.

Recruitment Commissions

For anyone you recruit into the business, you receive a 15% commission.

Residual Commissions

This is where you can make good money. As long as you build out your downline correctly, you can make money not doing much.

The way it works is, you recruit people, and they become part of your legs on different levels. The more you and your recruits recruit, the more residual income you can make.

Basically you earn a percentage based on your rank level.

Matching Bonus

Not only do you receive a commission when someone in your downline recruits someone, but you can also receive a bonus as well.

Every time someone in your downline receives a bonus, you receive a matching bonus. You can earn up to 30% on level 1, and 10% on levels 2 and 3.

Ascira Products

Currently, Ascira offers only just two products that are not even available yet.

Those would be:

  • The Ascira Academy
  • Discount Travel Portal aka “Smart Travel”

Ascira Academy

Here you will find their library of recorded videos from professional authors and other leaders. I couldn’t find any other information about what else this entails.

Smart Travel

This is their discount travel portal which is the company’s main service. This is paid every month and can fuel your residual income.

What I Like About Ascira

I couldn’t really find much to like about this company. But if they add more things like they say they will, maybe I can find one. Until then, there’s nothing to see here.

What I Don’t LIke About Ascira

Poor Leadership

Based on the history of those that lead this company, they have done a great job at scamming people.

They have all been involved in some type of ponzi or pyramid scheme, which causes a lot of distrust.

We’ve heard the saying the business rots at the head, and this is definitely the case with Ascira.

Just another scheme

Since there are no products to sell at the moment, you have to call Ascira a pyramid scheme. Hopefully they will get the products out so that we can remove that label.

But until then, we have to call like we see it. You can’t just rely on recruiting, because eventually you will burn out and will stop recruiting.

Once you do that, your downline will collapse, and so will your money.

Low success rate

Just like every other MLM, making money in this business is extremely difficult. Most people lack the business skills to develop a sustainable business.

And if you factor the cost of joining a business like Ascira, at $499 to $4999, it’s almost impossible to get ahead.

Is Ascira A Scam?

I’ve joined a few MLMs in my day. I also know many others who’ve done the same. At the end of the day, MLMs are a terrible way to make a living.

That being said, there are some good ones out there that offer decent products, unfortunately Ascira isn’t one of them.

The fact that the people who run this business are untrustworthy, should make anyone hesitate to join.

My advice would be to just save your money and look for alternatives to making money.

Where you can be educated and learn how to make money and build a business that is started by you, and not some scammer.
