But as you develop and gain more knowledge, this is a tool you most definitely want in the toolkit.
Free Alternative: Google Keyword Planner
Google offers a free keyword search tool for those just getting started. Since it is created by google, you can expect it to be pretty accurate.
The only issue is that it isn’t as detailed as other keyword tools. But it is free, and it is something you can use as you gain more experience in the online world.
Affiliate Networks
Once you’re able to build traffic on your site, then it’s time to monetize that traffic.
Affiliate networks are the main platforms companies use to allow affiliate marketers to promote their products and services.
Each of them are free to join. All you have to do is create an account, and search for products.
The 4 main affiliate networks are:
- Amazon Associates (physical products
- Shareasale
- Commission Junction
- Clickbank (digital products)
Again, keep in mind that these are the main affiliate networks many are familiar with. There are many more out there that are also private.
If you know of a company and enjoy their products, more than likely they have an affiliate program.
Just do a search in google and see what you can find. There’s so much earning potential in the affiliate marketing world!
Books To Improve Your Life And Business
Creating wealth first starts with self development. It’s important to invest in yourself as you learn what it really takes to make money in this world. Reading books from those that have already ready found success in making money, is the key to creating your own success. So here are some books that have helped me create wealth for myself.
Rich Dad Poor Dad
This book absolutely changed my mindset.
This was the first book I ever read that helped confirmed my thoughts about college and working a 9 to 5.
It helped answer so many questions I had and helped direct me on the path to financial freedom.
In this book you learn the real difference between and asset and liability.
Also, you learn why the rich continue to get rich, and the poor continue to get poorer.
The difference between the wealthy and everyone else, is MINDSET! This book will help you with that.
Cashflow Quadrent
Rich Dad’s Cashflow Quadrant is the second book in the Rich Dad series.
You learn about the 4 types of income earners (Employee, Self-employed, Business, and Investor) and how each of them create their wealth.
You’ll learn about the different mindset each of them have, and how they go about building financial freedom.
Cashflow Board Game
Another investment tool from the Rich Dad Series.
Not a book, but a very important tool for those that enjoy the hands-on approach to learning about money.
The Cashflow Board Game is like Monopoly on steroids.
Even though I had read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad, I still lacked the understanding of how to build wealth.
It wasn’t until I played cashflow where the light bulb went off and I finally understood how the rich build their wealth.
So if you’re someone that loves playing board games, cashflow is the perfect game to play to learn about money.
Money Master The Game
If you’re serious about building long term wealth, then investing in the stock market is a must.
But the stock market is such a complicated machine. How can you invest in something that is way out of your depth?
Tony Robbins provides you with the answers and teaches you how to use the market as a tool to increase your wealth exponentially.
He takes the fear out of investing by providing you with the confidence needed to change your financial future for you and your family.
Unshakeable
So many people were overwhelmed by the wealth of information Money Master The Game provided.
So Tony Robbins provided a more condensed version for making money in the stock market. By providing you with and easy to follow guide to investing in the market.
You’ll learn how to be less fearful of investing, and develop the confidence that will make you unshakeable when it comes to building your wealth.
There are a ton of resources Tony provides you to make sure you are on the right path to creating long term wealth.
4-Hour Work Week
When I first read this book, many of the things I heard in it made absolutely no sense to me. A lot of the things that were said I thought wasn’t possible.
It wasn’t until I became a business owner myself where I started to understand the concepts given in this book.
Whether you’re someone that is looking to escape the rat race, travel the world, or create a business that runs on autopilot, then the 4 hour work week is for you.
You will learn how to enjoy life right now, instead of having to wait for retirement.
Tim Ferris provides you with tools that will show you how to make your life a whole lot simpler.
Profit First
If you’re an entrepreneur, then you definitely want to take a look at Profit First.
Even though this book is meant to teach you how to focus on making profit a priority in your business, I was able to learn so much more.
Things like how to budget my money by allocating my money in different income buckets.
Being someone that struggles with organization, profit first helped make things so much clearer for me.
I knew exactly where my money was going, and was able to create more wealth by learning how to pay myself first.
At first you will think that some of Mike’s suggestions are a bit far fetched, but I would highly recommend you at least think about the process a bit.
You will learn that this is a big secret the wealthy use to help organize and build their wealth.
