If you’re looking to start a business in the health and wellness niche, you wouldn’t have to look very far to find one.

That’s because MLM companies are making it so easy for you to sign up and join them.

There are so many of them, you would have to be brain dead to not find one. One company in particular is Carelumina.

I’m sure you’ve heard of them or you wouldn’t be here today. But you’re probably wondering if they are a scam or not.

Well in this article I plan on going over everything you need to know about them.

Things like background information, cost to join, and the earning potential they can provide for you.

By the end of this, you will have a better idea if it’s worth getting into or not.

Carelumina Review Summary

Product: Carelumina

Founders: Not disclosed

Product Type: Health and Wellness MLM

Price to join: $200 for enrollment fee + $25 monthly autoship

Best For: No one

Summary: Carelumina is another health and wellness MLM business that needs to be looked into deeper.

I say this because there isn’t a lot of information on who’s the brains behind the operation.

What’s also concerning is that there isn’t any information on what members are making in terms of income.

In order to find this information, you would need to view their income disclosure statement which is not available.

So it’s hard to say for sure if people are actually making any money or not. My recommendation would be to look elsewhere.

What Is Carelumina?

Carelumina is another MLM company that markets products in the health and wellness niche.

Other than this, it was hard to find any other information in regards to their background.

I took a look at their website and on their landing page I found a video talking about a guy named Emil Dostovic.

It looks like this person is the Vice President of Business Development.

While doing some research, it looks like before joining Carelumina he had some sort of modeling career.

I couldn’t find any history of any MLM companies he was a part of.

So it seems that this guy has more knowledge about the modeling industry rather than business.

All of this is a huge flag to me because it has me wondering what this company is hiding.

But let’s dive deeper to see what more information we can uncover.

Carelumina Products

Like many other MLMs that operate in the health and wellness niche, Carelumina offers a wide variety of different products.

Things like juices or personal care products.

You can find a list of the types of juices they have a available below:

Not only that, but if you’re interested in nutrition and fitness, below you will find a list of products Carelumina offers:

  • Calm: “no stress + anti aging”, sells at $30 a bottle
  • Rest: “sleep well”, sells at $40 a bottle
  • Grow: “hair + nail”, sells at $40 a bottle
  • Slim: “skinny me”, sells at $40 a bottle
  • Charge: “get fit”, sells at $60 a tub
  • Build: premium whey protein, sells at $70 a canister

You can also find 3rd party services on the Carelumina website:

  • Roadside assistance - $15
  • Telehealth - $25
  • Tech support - $15
  • Identity protection - $15
  • Tredit monitoring - $25

These look to be monthly subscription costs but it's hard to say since their website gives little detail.

Does It Work?

Like with any company that creates a product or service, you hear nothing but positive things.

In fact, Carelumina claims that their products are developed by a team of doctors and scientists.

This helps build the credibility of their company. But based on my research, I couldn’t find anyone on this great team to verify this information.

Their website doesn’t list any of these people.

How To Make Money With Carelumina?

Like most MLM companies, there’s only so many ways in which you can make money. Those ways are:

  1. Selling products the company provides
  2. Recruiting others to sell products

Carelumina is no different. As a distributor, you are given the right to sell the products I’ve listed above.

If you want to make even more money, then recruit others to do the same.

How To Get Started with Carelumina?

In order to get started in Carelumina’s program, you will need to pay $200 and then subscribe to their monthly autoship which is $25.

Carelumina Compensation Plan

Retail Commissions

This is where members of the Carelumina program receive a commission for every retail sale made to retail customers.

If you’re an independent representative, you can earn 40% in retail commissions.

If you are a manager or other high ranking member, you can receive 60% in retail commissions.

Please note that the percentage of retail commissions are paid as a percentage of generated sales volume, and not the retail value of products and services ordered.

Recruitment Commissions

If you bring someone new into the business and they qualify for the Manager Rank, you receive what is called a Fast Start Training Bonus.

Below is a breakdown of how it all works:

  • The direct upline (recruiting affiliate) get a 40% Fast Start Training Bonus
  • Their upline (the affiliate who recruited the recruiting affiliate) gets a 10% bonus
  • The Fast Start Training Bonus is given as a percentage of generated sales volume

Unfortunately Carelumina doesn’t offer up much information when it comes to their sales volume. Which again is a huge red flag to me.

Residual Commissions

This type of commission is where your money can start working hard for you.

Many MLM companies structure their compensation packages this way when it comes to recruiting.

To be more specific, Carelumina uses a unilevel compensation structure to pay its members.

The way it works is, when you at the top of your team recruits someone into the business, that person under is considered to be Level 1.

When the person you recruited brings someone into the team, that person is then considered Level 2 on your team, but Level 1 on the person that recruited them.

This continues on indefinitely.

Below is a breakdown of the levels Carelumina members earn based on their rank:

  • Manager: 60% on level 1 and 5% on level 2
  • Senior Manager: 60% on level 1, 5% on level 2 and 2% on level 3 to 7
  • Regional Manager: 60% on level 1, 5% on level 2 and 3% on levels 3 to 7
  • National Manager: 60% on level 1, 5% on level 2 and 4% on levels 3 to 7
  • Director: 60% on level 1, 5% on level 2 and 5% on levels 3 to 7
  • Presidential: 60% on level 1, 5% on level 2 and 6% on level 3 to 7

What I Like About Carelumina

Unfortunately there isn’t much to like about this company. The earning potential just isn’t there.

What I Don’t LIke About Carelumina

#1. Lack of Trust

I don’t know about you, but when I decide to join a business, I like to know who the brains are behind the operation.

But when it comes to Carelumina, I have no idea who those brains are. Except for who the Vice President is who happens to be a former model.

Now I am in no way saying this company is a scam because of this lack of information, but it does cause me to be suspicious.

#2. No Income Disclosure Statement

This is how I look at it, if as an MLM company you don’t provide a income disclosure statement, It’s hard for me to take you seriously.

That’s because if I were someone looking to make money, I would want to know how successful members are in a particular program.

With Carelumina, it’s hard to figure out the level of success these members have.

Because of this lack of info, I find it hard to believe that anyone is actually making money in this business.

#3. Autoship Telehealth Service

Remember that autoship membership I spoke about earlier, well it looks like you’re actually joining a Telehealth service.

A service that in fact cannot be sold but still requires its members to pay each month. It’s not like it’s a product that can be sold for profit.

So I’m trying to figure out what its purpose is.

Is Carelumina A Scam?

Despite my criticism, I believe Carelumina to be a legit business. They do offer a product line that is made available for its members to sell.

However, there is no way I would recommend that you join this business to make money. That’s because I don’t believe the earning potential is there.

There is no income disclosure statement that lets people who may be interested in joining a way to vet the business.

Therefore I would recommend that you look elsewhere for your money making venture.

I would suggest looking at a place that gives you an opportunity to learn how to make money in the niche you desire.
