There are many factors that can affect our health on a daily basis. Whether it be due to your environment, poor diet, or just bad luck when it comes to genetics.

To combat this, supplements are made to overcome these negative effects. But do they actually work?

Well one company that is trying to help improve the health of people is ASEA.

They offer a couple of products that are meant to have a positive impact on people’s health. But many are wondering if they are a scam or not.

Well in this review, I plan on going over everything you need to know about ASEA.

Things like their background information, cost to join, and the benefits of trying out their products.

After reading, you will be able to make a more informed decision about if this business is right for you or not.

ASEA Review Summary

Product Name: ASEA

Founders: Verdis Norton

Product Type: Proprietary Blend of Salt Water and Skin Care Products

Price to join: $120 to $770 for Starter Kits, plus Monthly Autoships

Best For: People who can sell or market expensive bottles of water

Summary: ASEA is another MLM company that sells a couple of different health and wellness supplements.

Their main products being bottles of salt water and skin care treatment.

They also offer business opportunities to those looking to earn an income.

But I don’t see much of an opportunity when it comes to improving your financial situation.

When it comes to their products, there might be some side effects that may concern you as a distributor or consumer.

My recommendation would be to look elsewhere if you’re serious about starting an online business.

What Is ASEA?

ASEA is your typical Multi Level Marketing business that operates in the wellness niche. More specifically, they market products that focus on cell signaling.

Through the use of skin care supplements like creams and water.

Founded by Verdis Norton who has a lot of experience with operating Fortune 500 companies. He’s been a big help in growing the success of ASEA over the years.

Operating in over 100 countries around the world, ASEA is considered as one of the top 100 MLM companies in the world.

They are located in Salt Lake City, Utah like many other MLM company powerhouses such as Nature's Sunshine, DoTerra, and Young Living.

Back in 2009, ASEA launched their list of products and claim to have over 30,000 associates working for them globally.

Forming a partnership with BioAgilityx back in 2015, ASEA helped increase their credibility as a company making health and wellness products.

ASEA Product Line

Amazingly, ASEA offers just two main products compared to other MLMs that offer a lot more. The names of these products are ASEA Redox Supplement and Renu 28.

1. ASEA Redox Supplement - $35 per bottle

This is supposed to be the water that helps improve all ailments in the body. Loaded with salt and other minerals for additional nutritional benefits. Some of these benefits include:

  • Cell protection
  • Increased cell rejuvenation
  • Increased athletic performance
  • Increase cellular communication

2. Renu 28 - $45 to $50 (on Amazon)

This is ASEA’s skin care product that is said to provide all types of benefits to the skin. Some of these benefits include:

  • Decrease eye wrinkles
  • Improved facial skin texture
  • More smoothness on the skin
  • Increases skin elasticity
  • Improved skin moisture

One tactic that ASEA is using to make sure that people stay invested in their products is by setting up a skin care regimen for customers to follow.

Not only is this supposed to keep them purchasing the product, but this also means you the distributor have to continue marketing these products.

My only concern is will customers be willing to spend the thousands of dollars needed to maintain healthy looking skin?

Training Program

When it comes to training, ASEA offers training to all of its new members that YOU have to pay for.

Crazy right?

The focus of these training programs is to help the new members develop a mindset that will help them succeed in the business.

They are held at various venues and sometimes even through webinars. Below is a list of the training programs:

  1. Evision - An annual 3 day event where you get to meet with experts and company executives. You will also learn how to develop leadership skills and create a business plan.
  2. Base Camp - Open only to Bronze Executives and above. Here you will learn about team management where you will get access to weekly webinars.
  3. ASEA Ascent - You will learn how to improve your business
  4. Diamond Summit - Conferences are held in luxury resorts in Hawaii. The event usually lasts one day where one half is for conferences, and the other half is for fun in the sun(beach).

Does The Product Work

Well let us first understand what it is that their products are supposed to do. The purpose is to help with the body’s cellular breakdown.

This is usually the case as we age. We tend to be prone to sickness, aging, and other ailments.

ASEA’s products are made to help improve this at a cellular level. But based on some reviews, their products do very little to help with cellular breakdown.

And at $30 plus dollars a pop for a bottle of sea water, I would expect a lot more than what most are getting.

This is the problem I have when people try to sell water claiming it does XYZ. How can anyone verify the results?

So I would be very cautious about expecting miracles with their products.

How To Make Money With ASEA?

Like most MLM companies, there’s only so many ways in which you can make money. Those ways are:

  1. Selling products the company provides
  2. Recruiting others to sell products

ASEA is no different. As a distributor, you are given the right to sell the products I’ve listed above.

If you want to make even more money, then recruit others to do the same.

How To Get STarted With ASEA?

Before getting your business off the ground, you need to purchase one of 4 product packs:

  1. ASEA Advancing Life - 1 Case of Asea Redox for $120
  2. Basic Plus - 2 Cases of Asea Redox for $240
  3. Builder - 4 Cases of Asea Redox for $370
  4. Express Builder - 8 Asea Redox of Asea for $770

As you can see from the prices, these bottles are going to cost you some change. You get about four 32fl oz bottles in each case which comes out to around $30 per bottle.

But there is a way you can save some money by purchasing either the Builder or Express Builder cases.

Purchasing either case will end up costing you around $23 per bottle.

Autoship Requirements

To incentivize their members to make sure they are making sales, ASEA has auto shipment requirements.

In order to be included in their compensation plan, there is a minimum amount of PVs you need to reach each month.

In this case, that number would have to be 100 PV which is pretty much one case of the ASEA Redox.

And if you don’t maintain at least 200 PV each month, you will come to find that your earning potential becomes very limited.

ASEA Compensation Plan

ASEA’s compensation is binary meaning teams are built on both the right and left leg. This is also the case for those you recruit underneath you, and continues infinitely.

Below is a breakdown on how you can earn through ASEA’s compensation plan:

  1. Retail Commissions - A retail commission of $30 for every sale of a $150 case of their products.
  2. Preferred Customer Bonus - $25 earned for every case when Preferred Customers sign up for autoship
  3. Fast Start Bonus - Bonus are given out to members who personally sponsor their new recruits during the enrollment process
  4. Recruitment Commissions - A member who recruits a new distributor and purchases a product pack earns $20 per pack purchased by the new member.
  5. AAA or (Affiliate Autoship Commissions) - Members get paid when their new recruits sign up for the autoship order.
  6. Check Match Bonus - This bonus pays out a percentage of commissions earned by a recruit’s unilevel team.
  7. Team Commissions - Build at least 300PV in your organization's left and right leg, and earn 10% of the volume of the lesser leg.

What I Like About ASEA

#1. Provide Great Training

A big reason why many people fail when starting an MLM business is due to lack of training and many other things.

But lack of training is one of the main reasons.

But when it comes to ASEA, they seem to do a pretty good job of developing the mindset of their members to be successful.

Does that show in the actual results, well that’s another question I will answer in the next section.

But the fact that you are paying $200 a month to sell their products, at the very least you would expect proper training.

What I Don’t LIke About ASEA

#1. Expensive Bottle of Salt Water

One thing  you’ll notice about MLMs are the high costs of their products. They do this not because of some secret ingredient that no one has, but because of profits.

Companies want to make sure they maximize the most amount of money they can while giving you the least amount of value.

Because let’s be honest, paying 30-35 bucks for some water seems ridiculous.

I would bet that their water offers the same results as a bottle of gatorade at 7 times the price.

#2. Possible Side Effects With Sodium Content

Like I mentioned in the previous paragraph, with these prices, you expect some super secret ingredients.

But all you’re getting is water and a whole lot of salt. According to the FDA, that’s 7% above the safe limit.

Now you don’t have to worry about the side effects being too much, but why put yourself in that position period.

Is ASEA a Scam?

Even though I wouldn’t recommend this program to anyone, I can’t say that ASEA is a scam.

Mostly because even though they do focus a lot on recruiting, selling products is the main source of income for most members.

If the focus was to only recruit, then no doubt you would be dealing with a pyramid scheme. But this is far from the case with ASEA.

The most you have to deal with is overpriced products and a high concentration of salt in the water which could cause upset stomachs.

However you are getting decent training that will help you develop the mindset necessary to build a successful business.

Even though I doubt that will be the case with ASEA since most people fail with MLMs.

But it is something you can take to your next business venture.

Hopefully one where you will learn how to build a sustainable business that earns you full time income for years to come.
